Intuit Tax Advisor will now notify you through a strategy insight when your California S Corporation or Partnership clients could make use of the Pass Through Entity Tax!
You can add the Pass Through Entity Tax strategy from the Strategy Insight view where you will be prompted with a worksheet that automatically calculates the PTET tax. Once the worksheet is saved, you will see the federal tax savings and the state credit savings. If you want to learn more about the California Pass Through Entity Tax requirements, open up the strategy card where you will find specific details on when to make the election and pay the tax at the entity level.
