When my tax client imported from Lacerte, some things didn't pull in correctly:
- the rental expenses did not all come over into the 2021 data and baseline strategy. It was missing insurance expense and interest expense.
- AGI, Taxable Income and tax liability were all off slightly from Lacerte 2021 data
- State "balance due/refund" showed blank on import when the client had a 2021 overpayment in Lacerte
- Import pulled in loss item on s-corporation that was actually subject to passive loss limits in 2021 Lacerte. Tax Advisor Import shows the loss anyway and when I change it to "0" for 2022, it appears to impact the change in tax liability for baseline strategy.
