I had a client take several early 401K withdrawals in 2021 and will not have those in 2022. When entering the changes, I entered 0 for each previous 401K distribution. That should have shown a decrease in taxable income on the final plan. However, it did not change the final number at all, made no difference.
Hello,
Thank you for letting us know about the issue you were experiencing. We have not been able to recreate this issue. If you are still having the problem, can you please try again using a different browser (ex. Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Firefox)? Sometimes browsers will remember something that they shouldn't. Clearing cache and cookies can usually resolve unexpected behavior caused by that. If you would like to clear cache and cookies, Ctrl+Shift+Delete can be used in most browsers to quickly get to where the cache and cookies can be cleared. If it does happen in another browser or clearing cache and cookies doesn't resolve the issue, let us know so we can investigate further.
