The new CA Schedule D states on the form: "Do not complete this form if all of your California gains (losses) are the same as your federal gains (losses)." However, the form is being generated regardless of whether there are differences in the gains/losses or not. Please update the software to prevent the form from being generated when it is not required. It simply "clutters up "our copy and the client's copy of the return.
