In order to show the correct amount of prepaid CA PTE we have to use the screen 37.011 box under Pass-Through Entity Elective Tax Payment Vouchers called Payment Voucher 2022 Form 3893. This also creates a voucher and forces the Instructions for the CA PTE to include both 2022 and 2023 instructions.
This is incorrect, as the 2022 voucher shouldn't be paid again in 2023.
There should be a box for the total amount of CA PTE prepayment, or it shouldn't generate a new 2022 voucher, nor have it reflected in the instructions. The time for making 2022 prepayment is passed.
