The Lacerte program, for at least when doing a paper Form 1040,
should use all 14 lines of schedule B line 1 before generating a statement, not just 13.
That should be an easy fix to the next update of the program please.
The IRS should be able to match up better to the source of the 14 lines on the schedule B line 1
when kept on the schedule B itself, instead of going to a statement after just 13 lines of detail.
Keep up your good work by tweaking the program to fill up all 14 lines of schedule B line 1 of Form
1040. (not just 13 lines still with the latest release for 2022 in February of 2023).

They don't look at the Schedule B form.
It's laid out differently in the efile.
And if it's a paper return, someone keys in stuff. I'm not sure how much detail is entered.
