I agree with you. However, I've seen been "shown the light" -- which makes no sense, but I will take it. Go to "Client," "Export," and then "Export to File." From here you can create similar data reports and export to Excel. Some manipulation is necessary (such as it only includes the status number, not the detail or the preparer number, not the name). But better than trying to convert those atrocious PDF database reports to Excel and dealing with all the headers.
