You don't have to make the election at efiling. I'm not holding up mine, I'm just making a list of clients that I will need to reach out to in the summer. 

"You can elect to open Trump Accounts for your eligible children using the newly-created IRS Form 4547. You can do this when you file your taxes or through an online portal that will be available by summer 2026. Continue to check TrumpAccounts.gov for the latest information."
