TurboTax Online doesn’t allow direct export of a .tax file for use in ProConnect. The “permission” message you’re seeing is just TurboTax restricting access to its internal format. The only workable options are to export a PDF or .TXF, or re-enter the data in ProConnect (or use an import tool that supports TurboTax). When we’ve handled similar cases at [Content Removed] , the cleanest method is usually re-importing from Excel/PDF rather than trying to move a locked .tax file.
