Hello ProConnect Community,
I noticed that despite the IRS and Colorado accepting 2024 tax year e-file returns as of January 27, 2025, ProConnect Tax Online is not yet processing these transmissions.
I’m receiving an "E-File Transmission Failure" error, indicating that the platform is not ready to process 2024 returns.
Does anyone know if this is related to pending software updates or compliance adjustments? Has there been any official communication or timeline provided by ProConnect regarding when 2024 e-filing will be available?
Thank you for any insights or updates!

Colorado just issued a delay in accepting efile returns to sometime in Feb. I can't remember the date for sure, but I think it is mid February.
You may want to check their website.

None of my Colorado returns have been accepted yet as of 02/21/25, all are showing transmitted and show received by agency. I've checked the state website, with no luck.
Is anyone else experiencing the same delays?

I think you should try transmitting again, your error indicates a problem sending.
I wish this were available for ProConnect https://accountants.intuit.com/support/en-us/help-article/partnership/understanding-e-file-transmiss... so you will need to somehow translate it work with the ProConnect E-File Dashboard

Yes, they are still not accepting returns. I had a client in CO that I told her I was not sure if they were accepting yet on Thursday, and she said yes, she saw it in her newspaper that they still were not ready. So, I would not worry yet.
I was glad she saw it because just like you it is hard to find the information.
