Well, customer service had no idea and said there was nobody to escalate to nor anything that could be done about it. 

I was just verifying that I had printed everything so not all was lost, but I don't like my software company giving bad information like this!

When the email says, and I quote,

"Last chance to save your clients’ 2013–2016 tax returns. 

All 2013–2016 returns will be deleted after November 15, 2024.

After November 15, 2024, all tax returns from the tax years 2013 through 2016 will be purged from our systems. "

Then it should not be purged in the morning of November 15, 2024.  Maybe it was India time???
