Hi,
I recently was asked by a client if the software provides an audit meter when filing their returns. I know that Intuit offers something like this for their turbotax software and would like to know if we could get this for proconnect as I believe it would be helpful for both the clients and accountants.

There is an audit meter ---------- it's called the paid tax preparer.

When tax preparers become so dependent on their tax software that they need it to tell them when they are running some risk, it's time for all tax preparers to retire.

What is the purpose of an audit meter?
On the off-chance the meter is correct, would you file an incorrect or incomplete tax return if it showed a high audit risk?

Do your research before buying - https://accountants.intuit.com/protection-plus/pricing/
I remember on post from a preparer wanting a way out of signing up for Firm protection, i.e. adds the cost to every return filed.
