Hi! I had an old ProTaxConnect account. Just started a new one. The IRS website says my EFIN is active since 2019 but I got an error from ProTaxConnect that is needs to be applied for within the last 6 months.

You didn't say what you submitted to Intuit. EFIN documents more than 12 months old are not acceptable. Since your EFIN is older than 12 months, what you need to submit is a printout of your firm's Application Summary from the IRS website.
See this article for a sample of the Application Summary and instructions of how to access the Application Summary on the IRS website:

You may have to call support if you are CHANGING an existing EFIN.
Do you maybe mean PTIN? or maybe EIN?
