Haven't seen any problem thus far.  If you are working off one monitor, you'd need to manually flip back to the input screen after clicking on the highlighted field since it won't bring you back to the other window automatically.

One more thing you may like to be aware of is that the drill down is not always exact.  At best, it will only bring to you the main input screen for that particular item but not the exact input field.  Also, more than one input screen may lead to the same line item on the return, which means you will need to have an awareness of what other input may be relevant to that line item and check the input on the other screens, if applicable.
