It's April 27th now and my 1040 is still rejecting due to the 1116 Sch B error. The form is attached as a pdf, using the Description, etc. provided by the Error Resolution note and it still is not efiling. Don't tell me to paper file because that is not the solution here. How do I fix this?

You linked the PDF to Form 1116 Schedule B, in the box below the description?

When you attached the .pdf did you correctly link the pdf to form 1116 sch. B?

if so, it should be accepted with no problems.

i had to do a few of these returns with no problems.

It finally worked this evening. I have tried no less than 12 times to efile this following all the instructions in the error message notification. Each time I went in to make sure the attachment was correct the Type field was changed back to Other from Form 1116. It's been very frustrating but I'm thankful it's done now. Thank you for your encouragement.
