I'm having a similar problem for someone who was dependent in 2019 but not 2020, so eligible for the full credit now. I entered -1 in both spots, and nothing is showing up for the credit.

I've done everything mentioned in the linked article. But the correct credit is not showing up on the return.

"who was dependent in 2019 but not 2020"
If the person is not a dependent in 2020, then they would be entitled to the payment/credit as individual filers. That doesn't mean "not being claimed." It means "no longer qualifies as a dependent."
You might want to bookmark these links and read the IRS guidance.

The taxpayer is eligible. Information entered correctly into ProConnect per their instructions. Credit still not appearing on return. Is there another spot not mentioned in the ProConnect article that requires input?

Thank you all for your help. Mine was a quite simple. Their income in 2019 was above the beginning of the phase out, but below the phase out in 2020, BUT their second child turned 17 in 2020. So the 2019 return qualified them for more than the 2020 return does. So ProConnect correctly entered $0 on the 1040 form.
