I need to get help with preparing tax returns. I want to assign specific returns to an outside contractor I know. If I set them up as a User in my account, can I limit their access to just the clients or returns I assign? Does Intuit ProConnect have security settings?

Yes, you can do this by going to settings -> user management -> select the user -> client access.
