not sure I understand the robot part....last year was an anomaly, and the dates were extended until July so they made some changes......this year were back to the old rules and only the tax return due date was pushed out 30 days.

You can make the ES payment online on the IRS website if you missed the due date for auto debit in the program, just like another other year than 2020.
