I just did a 1040X for 2020.  Follow the instructions, step by step.  But nothing was carried to the 1040X Form after I made the correction on the original return and  I end up by inputting all information manually as you mentioned!!

Any one have the same problem?  Or, anyone might know what I did wrong??
