The Federal unemployment exclusion as reported on Schedule 1 line 8 flows correctly to Iowa return if there is no positive income on Schedule 1. If there are positive income items, it only shows the positive income on IA1040 line 14. If the total should be (9450), it shows +$750.00, I suppose I could override it, but there's always a chance that e-filing doesn't work.
