How do you allocate income that was earned in two different states by a partnership in ProSeries on the 1065?

In most cases it is apportioned, not allocated.
The more I know the more I don’t know.

OK...then how do I enter the income in such a way that it can be apportioned. I clearly need a little more help.

Happy day,
You do it at the state level. Each state has an apportionment worksheet. Some states do single or multi-factor apportionment using combinations of sales, property, wages and whatever. Some states double-weight sales, etc...

Thank you! I have gotten the MO apportionment worked out. I’m struggling to get the CO apportionment to work in ProSeries. Still working on it.
