I have found in the past that it is much better with unlimited Professional.  Part of that is the organizer's cost per client.  I do multiple states also.  You say you have 27 states, but how many total out of state returns would make a difference in your case.  I know every year I calculated it, the cost was about $1,200 more doing it piecemeal rather than unlimited.
