Did the client receive a NYC 1127 W-2 that required this?  Because normally NYC-1127 is when someone has an employee of the city of NYC type job but lives in another part of NYS.  I only have one client that has this.  He's a NYC police officer that lives in Westchester.  If they received one and lived in NYC all year (which is what you put),  then whoever issued the W-2 made a mistake.  If it just the documents you mentioned, then there shouldn't be an NYC 1127 at all.  Maybe you clicked NYC to e-file by mistake instead of just NY.  Because if you click NYC e-file, then a NYC return pops up automatically
