Run the ProSeries program as an Administrator.

  1. Close that year of the ProSeries software.
  2. Right-click on the ProSeries icon, and select Properties.
  3. Click on the Tab named Compatibility
  4. Check the last box, Run this program as an Administrator.
  5. Click OK.
  6. Launch ProSeries.
  7. Attempt to update and see if the error persists.
