The issue is not with ProSeries and my return did contain the correct format and passed Final Review and was successfully transmitted. However, the IRS rejected the energy credits after an 8-week review cycle and I suspect they are rejecting the manufacturer code anyway as the justification. I should receive the written notice next week with their supposed explanation. However, reading many of the threads on this issue, the problem is with the IRS and not Intuit.

I am asking for insight into what the IRS is expecting with these manufacturing codes and are they using their own table of "approved" codes and rejecting all others.
