I am in the process of sending Form 8878 to a client for e-signature. However, I am encountering an issue where, despite having no errors, the system indicates that I am not ready to request the e-signature. I would appreciate any guidance on what might be causing this issue. Thank you for your assistance.

Follow these steps to solve a sync error between the form and dashboard:
- Save and Close: Ensure all client returns are closed and saved.
- Go to HomeBase view
- Click on the HomeBase menu at the very top of the screen.
- Select Database/ Homebase Maintenance from the dropdown list.
- Select the Folder: A window will pop up showing your data folders (usually labeled by tax year, like 25Data). Ensure the correct folder is highlighted.
- Click the Fix button.

- federal information worksheet Part VI for electronic filing check
- extension file with banking account information is entered
