Hi Taxman, I did all that, attached the fillable PDF of the 172 to the tax return and ignored the error message in review.  Tried to e-file the return and it was rejected. Called Pro Series Help and she spent about 30 minutes with Tools getting updates, etc., because it shows on the list of forms that 172 is ready and able to be efiled as of 3/1/26.  She said that must be an error and to wait until March 6, the original date it was to be ready. I have my doubts about March 6.  My point is, even if you attach a PDF of the 172, the filing will be rejected by Intuit (it never made it to IRS).  If you find a way to make it work, let me know.  I've been using Pro Series for 16 years and never had many issues with it until this year.  If I wasn't retiring, I'd make a change.
