Ok

I don't know what is going on. Got up this morning and gave it a try, and everything is good, I don't think I  got an update as i have background updates turned off.

I am guessing that Powering off my computer overnight and back on this morning maybe cleared something in the system, but that's just a guess.

I should actually have tried rebooting yesterday (considered it) but didn't have any more to print, so I didn't bother.

Anyway if anyone gets the problem above, rebooting might be worth a try.
