I just checked one, and it's still not checking it on the Ohio return in the 2024 software. I'll admit I had forgotten about this. I hadn't verified whether it was fixed until your post showed up.

On the SD return, you can now manually check the box on pg. 1 of the SD return. But that option isn't available on the IT 1040.
