I am still having this problem with the 2024 Ohio and SD returns.  Had the same problem with 2023 returns.  For the 2024 returns, I checked all the proper boxes for the extensions, then previewed the Ohio return on every return to be extended and the extension box WAS checked on the front page of the Ohio return.  Then I e-filed the Federal extension and after its acceptance I previewed the Ohio return and the box for the extension WAS NOT MARKED!!!  Also, the Ohio diagnostics says to attach Form 4868 or Federal extension to the return. In 2024 I attached the Federal extension confirmation to Ohio returns via a PDF attachment.  After a telephone confirmation with the OH/SD department, the agent told me they don't automatically look at the attachments and therefore they do not record the extension unless you tell them to look at it.

I was wondering if you were still having problems with the Ohio box not marked for the 2024 returns using ProSeries?  If not, can you explain how you fixed this problem?
