I find it amusing that a vocal minority blames the problem on Intuit programming, but no one speaks out when IRS wants to turn tax professionals into audit snoops.  Certainly Intuit has no interest in how many W-2s a company issued.  It's IRS that wants to find S corporations with no employees.  They demand that Intuit include the question, under penalty of not having its program approved.  And Intuit customers, who have to pay for the IRS feature, just ask "how high?" when commanded to jump.
