Heyy, did you say you had a case that amended MFJ to MFS a year after the due date? Can you share a little more, im in a tough spot because my accountant submitted my joint return without my spouses signature who was supposed to sign however he decided to not show up and due to other issues that same month we filed for a divorce (these are 2023 taxes we submitted late in March 2025 due to emotional abuse). Now that we are divorcing he has stated he didn't sign and therefore will not be responsible for these joint taxes, mind you he makes a lot more than me and will put me in a 26k tax debt rather than 5k which is what I would owe.
