How do I get the beneficiary's id number on a K1 from a trust to reflect a charity's EIN format, rather than an individual's SSN format?

The trust has 5 beneficiaries who received distributions: 1 individual and 4 charities. When I enter the charities ID number on the K1 it always reverts to SSN format instead of the EIN. Does this matter and if so, how do I fix it?
