When there are many pages of transactions on a 1099-B, do you have to list all of them individually?

I stopped scanning and attaching about seven years ago.. been reporting totals only, by category..never got one peep about it from the IRS

If you would read the Schedule D/8949 instructions, you would earn that the detail for covered transactions does not need to be entered or attached.
Reading is Fundamental.

A long, long time ago, when I could remember,
I used to enter each page separately. Then I started attaching PDFs. Now I just enter total ST-A, LT-D, etc.
