hello all,

I have to prepare a form 502 MD MFJ return. new for 2024 TY, the husband lives full time and makes all wages from another state the entire year while wife is a full time occupant & wage earner in MD. The *instructions* below from MD dept of tax tell me what i need to do.

My question: Is there way to activate form 505 & 505NR in proseries to mesh with the regular tax form return or do i have to prepare 505/505NR separately and attach to the file?

** If you are filing separately, see Instruction 8. If you are filing a joint return, you must
attach a pro forma Form 505 and 505NR. See Technical Bulletin 1 & Administrative Release 3.

I have looked online @ MD tax dept for a while and i can not for the life of me find the correct bulletin & admin release that they may answer my question.
