My client called the IRS and IRS said that the form 172 has been ready for a while now. So, I'm not sure where the disconnect is at.  It is really sad when your client has to call the IRS and I end up with egg on my face because I have to tell them, Pro Series says something different. We have to tell our clients that our program says it's not finalized yet and they have to wait another week after processing their tax return the first week of Feb.

I understand that programing takes a bit, but if my client is being told it's ready, then why is it still being finalized at Pro Series end and what's holding it up?
