I stuck it out until 4:45...because that's when the last mail goes out in our little town.  Changed the voice mail message to "we are closed for a while, leave a message & we "might" get back to you 🙂

I'm not even going to CHECK the messages until tomorrow at the earliest.  If it's a *crisis* regarding an extension, it is too late.  If it's a *crisis* of some other matter, well - it isn't really a crisis that can't wait until I resurface.

The *last* extension I did file was for a client that has the habit of actually filing three years at a time.  So I'm not overly concerned that I almost missed putting him on extension.
