Hello All. im pretty sure the answer is NO although hoping someone may have something up their sleeve.
is there any secret spot on my c drive where it happens to save a file that was already accepted by the irs/state.?
my problem is i was playing with an already efiled return ultimately deleting the spouse/filing status for 2025 to update the estimated payments to a filing single taxpayer and it auto saved before i can log out in time without saving the changes i was making just for planning purposes. ( i have adjusted the auto save time for next time lol)
it a shocker but client told me of a finalized divorce in 2025 that he failed to mention until AFTER he received the final return from me and estimates for ty 2025. o btw im getting divorced in 2025 can you change the estimates. PIA
im importing the PDF of the prepared return as we speak which will hopefully solve my issue of not having to redo the file
I called proseries , they said there is no saved file of efiled returns anywhere on my system or theres, just reaching out here to double check that is accurate.
thanks all!
