When completing Schedule PTE, don't enter an amount directly on line 4. (Note: beginning in ty25 these fields will no longer be enterable).  Instead enter the amount on Schedule KS Totals, line 2.  I believe the description is incorrect, it should refer to S corporation.  Entering the amount directly on Schedule PTE does not flow to the Schedule KS which is causing the return to have errors.  Your feedback is welcomed because this form keeps changing and we always welcome users input.  Thank you for your question, I hope this will help.
