Called twice concerning this. First they told me it’s IRS regulations. Now they are not sure.  Just e-filed a return without the information (errors were shown on the error checking) and unchecked “enable conversion error checking” and guess what…the IRS accepted the return. That indicates to me pretty clearly it’s a programming error and not IRS regulations. Frustrating. Time is money. No need to enter useless information.
