program kept saying to close quickbooks before installing 2024 Proseries but QuickBooks was not even opened. Gliches 3 times, shut down restart 3 times. Try to use Microsoft edge but the program was even funnier, it forces me to open another account in Microsoft. So I take it that the program is not ready for installing...

Quickbooks is like a cancer at times. You need to do some chemotherapy by going to your computer's task manager. Find anything running that looks like a Quickbooks application and then select those items and click "end task".

Restart the computer again, then open Task manager (hit CTRL:+ALT+DEL one time) and End Task on anything that looks like its related to QB or Intuit. Then try your download/install again.

I did all that and restart 3 times but it’s still not installing, I think it’s a program issue; maybe it’s too early. I will wait a few weeks then try again. Thanks you.

Many people, including myself , have installed it with no problems, you may want to call in to Tech Support

Not really! It was not QuickBooks nor task management! My Microsoft updates was rejected somehow….. unfortunately after 14 hours with Microsoft support via chat ( no call back at all after each restart…. There were like 10+ restarts….) 24H2 updates are finally okay but Proseries shows error message that my Microsoft is 10 from 2016, mine is actually Microsoft 11 from 2019. I am too busy this week but I now know it’s Proseries’ s installation program problem. I will call next week and hopefully they will fix it by then…
thanks
