Seems like a terabyte hard drive and 32 GB of memory is popular.  That's what I currently have but I need to be mobile for after tax season so for quite a few years I have been using Dell laptops with a docking station.  But of course, if it is going to be a laptop in does need to have a numeric keypad on it.
