Your post isnt quite clear, the child qualifies the TP as HOH, but is NOT a dependent?

The child should still be listed in the dependent entry section, but use Code Q at the far right end of the table.  This shows them NOT as a dependent but will qualify them for EIC and/.or dependent care.
