Matt take a look at my post last week, on Wednesday I believe, called IRS ID verification heads up. I had the same thing with client. If my memory serves me right, she said all they asked  for on current return,, after going through all the hoops and taking a selfie and providing driver's license,  was her filing status and her pin, e-file pin I believe.
