You need to enter the bulk of the information to agree with the return that you are correcting and then make the changes that are needed.

You want basically enter the return from scratch and have it match up with the return that was filed. Depending on what is on the return, I will lump totals like interest and dividends together to save some time --------- unless schedule B is what you are correcting.
