It's the next year. I'm doing the same client. Last year the only way I got it to work was to check the box.

They're filing again this year, and I have to check the box again. Unfortunately, that makes them ineligible for any credit that requires "earned income," because it's claiming the wife has no earned income. 

How do I do this?
