I cannot understand why that tax file date is still April 18 when SO MANY forms are still not available!! The last 3-4 weeks of tax season are going to be insane with all these queued returns.

Yeah, you really can’t do that, as tempting as it seems. I’ll be waiting until March 31 to file a passel of 1116 foreign tax credit clients myself for that late release form.
