When I enter 08/06/2021 on the year 2021 trust Schedule E asset entry worksheet as the date of disposition an error message pops up "the date of disposition has an unacceptable error".  I have tried different dates but always receive the same error.

It also does not compute the gain.

It is also asking for the recovery period even though I entered "I" Residential; rental real estate as the "Type of asset".

It is a Sunday here, so no one is home at proseries.

You are in the 2021 program correct?

Is it calendar year trust or fiscal year trust.  If fiscal, when is the ending date.

That is the answer!  Thank you, thank you thank you!  I indicated a fiscal year by accident.  Everything works now.  I really appreciate that you took the time to answer.
