Scheduled to release later today, June 25, 2025, Lacerte Release 8.5 will introduce changes to the Lacerte Background Updater.

These changes include;

• Updates Ready to Install Window: This window now includes a Remind Later option, while previous options only included View Details and Complete Installation.
• Update Successful Window: After an update is successfully installed, you no longer need to click the X to close the window. You'll be able to click anywhere within the program to close the pop-up in order to continue working in 2024.
