This session will enable the attendees to learn about different forms of identity theft that are prevalent in today’s world with a specific focus on tax identity theft. The course will provide detailed information about how identity theft incidents occur, what areas are being targeted, and what steps can be taken to mitigate the risk of identity theft for accountants and their clients. After attending this session, accountants will be better prepared to communicate with their clients about identity theft, protect their clients and their business from future incidents, and confidently tackle identity theft issues when they arise.
